Default jacking up the car

I'd like to change my own oil. Do I need to jack up the car? If so where are the jack points for axle stands, or should I use ramps?

Thanks

I use a jack with jack stands. A ramp would work too. I place the jack under the large flat spot behind the sub-frame mount (it's roughly a large triangular area). Then I place the jack stand right under the sub-frame mount. Ramps are okay but some cars are so low that an additional 'mini-ramp' has to be used to avoid scraping the front bumper. You're also limited to the kind of work that can be done on the car (with ramps).

You can do a search as you will need a filter wrench and you will want to know how to reset the service reminder message when it pops up.
