hey guyss, i need help, my s60 has jumbled letters so i cant navigate thru stations?? anyone know whats what??

 

I'd try the "reset all", like the old windows computer.


Disconnect the negative side of the battery and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Check ALL fuses. Sometimes there are two fused boxes.
Reconnect and try again.

 

Is this on a segmented display, or is it on an LCD screen? if segmented display there may be a problem with the LCD driver. I have had this problem on a volvo DIM and reflowed the chip.

 

yeaaa idk what to call it, but its the only screen that shows the radio stations...

 

if you have a friend with the same model radio you may be able to put it in place of yours, if there are still jumbled letters there may be something going on in the CAN bus, or the power supply, but if not my bet is on that display driver.
