I have a 2020 V60 and I'm fed up keep buying faraday pouches which las for a matter of weeks before I can open the door when fob fully enclosed in pouch and the car is 30 yards from the pouch!

Is it possible to tuirn off the keyless entry feature .... it's no great advance anyway. It's only made life easier for car thieves.

Any one have any ideas I'll be most obliged ... ps dealer doesn't seem interested at all.

 

Not sure if the internal remote battery powers that function - have you tried taking the battery out of the remote?

 

Hoonk - no ... my experience with key fob batteries is a bit hit and miss - also i was looking for a way to be able to drive the car without any faffing about just like normal cars allow
