Default KEYS ISSUE WITH 2007 VOLVO--S60(Start prevented, Try again)

I OWNED a 2007 s60 which has been parked for 6 months because I was overseas, during that time the battery was disconnected. When I came back home to the States,my key transponder was lost, only had one key.so I called a Locksmith he came over and made me a regular key, which was able to open my door and start the vehicle after I replace the battery, but the next day the car WOULD not start,NO CRANK at all,i receive message that say. What could the possible issue be?IMMOBILIZER AND IGNITION SWITCH ARE BOTH Good.

Unless the key has a transponder chip in it and programmed by the dealer, it will not work properly. I don't even think of locksmiths with cars. I go to the dealer.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have to go to the dealership to get this sorted.

I'm in a situation where I can't get the car started either.
In My case, I need a Transponder Key made. Labor, Programming & Software alone is Dealer Quoted around $250(US).

I can't even find a Locksmith in my area that can do this job.
