Default List of system and sensor parameters

I have a scan tool connected and I'm running the data stream feature to monitor various systems in real time.

I'm wondering where I can find technical data on what the nominal or acceptable ranges are for each system/sensor. Ex. Camshaft shifting angle - exhaust should be -11 +/- 2°

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you looked into getting the VIDA software (ie on eBay)?

Only minimally. I know someone who has access to an OTC encore scan tool that is sold to dealerships and small repair shops and includes software for scanning almost ever make/model of vehicle both domestic and foreign. I'm assuming(we all know the saying) that this tool is as qualified, if not more than, to do the same thing that a VIDA would do. And over the last 5 years of me owning this vehicle has in every case. However, I could be wrong.

Does the VIDA show ranges for each system? The type of thing where if a value falls about side of the acceptable tolerance would trip a DTC and would show that on the graph output?

Vida or

Alldata or the Snap-on owned software.(can't remember the brand name, I had an alldata subscription) Both get their info from the manufacturers.

Vida can be free, (for the stolen/hacked version for cars up to 2015) for info. A Dice or other compatible device is needed to talk to the car.
