Default Looking to buy 04 s60 2.5t

I currently drive a 07 civic SI. Looking for something cheaper, on insurance and payment. I know volvos are built rock solid, but im intimidated by the stereotype of the electrical systems. Do these cars have any majormechanical or electrical problems? Is their a good 3rd party market for performance parts? Are the stock sound systems hard to upgrade? Im not looking at making it a fast car or anything, but i would like to make it my own. I am 21, own my home with my fiance, and cant afford major problems, should i look at something else?

I really appreciate your input. Thanks.

Default RE: Looking to buy 04 s60 2.5t

I'm sort of new to a Volvo myself, but I would say there is a somewhat limited amount of aftermarket parts out there and probably not as much at low-cost as with the Honda. My other car is a Mazda6 which isn't much of a tuner car, but there are several places that have low cost intake/exhaust upgrades available.

It looks like ECU upgrades are pretty popular but there seems to be more performance mods for the T5 and 60R models...
