So tomorrow evening I'm going to be stopping by my local Volvo Dealer to look at a 2016 V60 Cross country AWD. Now I wasn't originally looking for the Cross country, I was contemplating regular S60/V60 AWD models. It's actually pretty loaded, full Technology and Comfort packages, which the technology is important to me because I want the Adaptive Cruise Control.

So, my use is general commute/transportation, but with more room (currently 2011 Honda Civic) and to tow a modestly loaded smaller trailer, maybe 400-800 pounds (plus trailer weight) of semi-bulky stuff. So the S60/V60 sounds perfect, and with towing I'm thinking the AWD is extra useful rather than just plain FWD (although I know you can do it).

So it's got the black & tan leather seats, just under 16K miles, and according the CarFax (got the report free through USAA, whoo!!) the 1st owner was actually a rental fleet, owned for 6 months (registered July 2016, dealer record as of Jan 2017).

Buying used but relatively new, anything specifically I should check out? Make sure is covered? I should check on the test drive?

How about other owners, their experience with doing general towing, other stuff with the car. Maintenance, does a lot go wrong with it?
