Greetings fellow volv drivers,.Been trying for a couple of days trying to remove the low beam headlight bulb on the driver’s side to no success. A tight squeeze as I'm almost to the point of removing the air filter box in order to have access to the bulb. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

 

VADIS instructions for replacing the headlamp bulb- "Loosen the air filter housing from the clips, 3 pcs, by pulling straight up and folding aside. Then remove the cover; the connector; the spring clip by pressing inwards, to the left and folding downwards; the bulb."

 

the bulbs have a 5 year warranty on them. take the car to the dealer

 

Heyyy SAS thanks with that simple yet important detail of a warranty, after 3 weeks of wondering how I was going to figure out this task all along I could just drive down to the dealership and have it replaced...for free....this forum is sure helpful. Again thanks....sb

I too learned the headlight warranty issue....but I learned it after the fact!

AFTER replacing the headlight I went to the dealer for an oil change and mentioned how the headlight had burned out...it was the service guy I was talking to who made the "5 year warranty, it's covered just come in" comment to me....
