Low beam repair
Hi all,
My wife's '01 S 60 has the dreaded "dipped Beam failure". The passenger side needs a new pigtail/connector. Now, I've done this before, BUT the clip is a major pain to get out. First - can I move the box behind the low beam assembly cap to get better leverage? Then, can I just get the pigtail connector to the dipped beam? I can take the cap on the back off, eventually get the flappin clip off, but the connector to the bulb is toast. There is a U Pull yard near me, really nice folks, so is this doable?
Thanks - I'm ready to tape the error message over!

Pigtail replacement on Passenger Low beam
I know this was an old post, but did you ever get this low beam pigtail fixed? My 2001 S60 has a bad connector that won't stay seated on the bulb. The wires are too short to manipulate and it's a cramped space to work in.
I would like to splice the existing wires, add more length to the wire with new connectors to the bulb.
Thanks,
Lisa
