Default low beam replacement on an 05 s60

lots of complications with this job that I havent really seen properly covered anywhere. Is there a specific orientation required for the tabs on the H11 bulb to match the notches they go in inside the headlight? When replacing the driver side do you turn the bulb clockwise or counterclockwise when facing the car? Or better yet, suppose you were installing the bulb from inside the hood compartment instead of outside it, would you turn the new bulb clockwise or ccw to lock it in place.

Overall this is one of the worst designed headlight units I have ever seen. The bulbs dont go in or come out easily at all. It should be a simple matter of insert the bulb and twist in the proper direction but instead its overly complicated, one of the H11 tabs is slightly larger than the others but the notches are all the same size, I dont know if I am twisting the wrong way, if the tabs are in the wrong notches, or what the problem is. And there are no good detailed diagrams or videos anywhere describing the minute details a novice would need to know to do what is a relatively simple repair on other cars.

I'm pretty sure it's in the owner's manual. It isn't that complicated. Twist CCW (as looking from the back of the bulb) to remove. Insert new bulb and twist CW.

The tabs on the H11 only fit in one way.
