Massive oil leaking
not likely unless you drove a while with the light on. First thing to do is to drain the oil through filter paper to look for any metal bits. Refill the oil and give it a listen - no odd noises means your good and its time to service the PCV. You can also have the shop drop the oil pan and clean the bottom end and service the oil pump if you are concerned. Check if there's any recommended updates to your oil pickup for your model (ie a new part #). You can also have a shop with a scanner/VIDA check oil pressure for you prior to doing the PCV for peace of mind.
