Hello members, new member here.


I recently purchased a 01 Volvo S60 2.4t. It had a blown motor. Coolant got mixed in with the oil, Blew the turbo and oil pump seized. So I bought a new motor, took the head off my old motor and rebuilt it. The new block stripped down and changed bearings and got the whole engine cleaned. I also got a new full gasket set.


Now it came down to assembling the engine. Got the block finished, and head bolted down. I didn't know much about these cams but needed to change the cam seals. took off the cam gears and now don't know how to put it back so it doesn't affect timing.


Can anyone point me to a diy or tell me how you should set cams, put gears back on and set timing? It be a big help. Thanks
