Need new engine and turbo for 2004 s60 2.5t
Hello,
After performing diagnostics the volvo dealership quoted me a price of $5100 on a replacement engine that has 74,000 miles on it along with a turbo package that is also needed. They warranty the engine for one year or 12k miles.
Does this sound about right and is there a less expensive route to go or is it best to get this major job done at a dealership?
Also,
is getting a used replacement engine a trustworthy thing to do,I almost get the feeling that it will be one problem after the next. Am I just being paranoid about this?
Thanks,
Toppy
