Default new 02 S60

I just picked up an 02 S60 yesterday and freakin love it. Something I have noticed is that when I turn sharp the tires scrub. It has p235/45r17 tires and everything I've read says this is the factory size. What gives? Is there anyway to fix this. Spacers, smaller tires, or extending the steering stops?

Also, the car is off 5mph. I lock in 60 on cruise and I'm running 65mph. Ideas? Can I run 225/45r17s nto fix this?

It is factory, they all do it with these tires. If you want to have to do a 3 point turn every time you park, then get the spacers. Not sure about changing the tire size, tech can probably help. I would just deal with it, you will get used to it after awhile and will know when to stop turning the wheel to avoid it. Not sure about speedo problems.

Not sure about the other size tires.

But you can have spacers installed but will take about 5 football feilds to make a U-turn.

Have the Dealer check and make sure the computer is programmed for the 17's

Thanks for the replies. I figured I'd have to hit the dealer up. I may try a 225/45r17. Not much of a difference in size, but it may be enough.
