Default new stereo system

im upgrading my stereo system, and im going for a complete overhaul. im looking at a new head unit
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+KD-HDR30.html
it has a peak of 50wattx4 channels and an rms of 22 wattsx 4 channels
im looking into new front door, back door, and back deck speakers, and to power them im looking at a 4 channel amp for the door speakers, and a 2 channel amp for the back deck. the doors add up to 680 peak watts and 150 rms watts, so i was thinking a 760 watt amp for those. the back deck are 600 peak watts and 120 rms watts, so i was looking at an amp that matches perfectly, 600 peak watts and 120 rms. in addition to those, i have a 15" sub with a 1500 watt amp for the trunk. this all adds up to about 3000 watts, which im thinking will overpower my alternator and or battery. any suggestions as to what preventative measures i should take to keep from killing my electrical system?

Not sure but i've heard that you can have your alt rebuilt to supply more amperage. I know they sell high output alts for other cars. Your electrical system will be affected. A bigger battery for sure. What kind of speakers and subs you goin with?

I have a Kenwood DNX5120 installed on mine. http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-DNX512.../dp/B0015G8DRA
I got my iPhone hooked up, and it plays youtube, music, and movies from the phone.

I'm looking to install a new head unit, but I am wondering if anyone has success with tying in a rear parking assist with it. As it is, the parking assist is tied into the factory radio, so I'll lose that feature when removing it. I'd like to keep it, though, as it is a feature I like having.

My unit only does the rear view camera which is placed on my license plate. But you can get something like this that is independent of any stereo systems.
