Default New Wheels, etc.

I just got new wheels yesterday. I am going to clean them up really well, treat the tires and put them on today. So far, I have replaced the entire interior, because the previous owners psycho ex wife trashed the interior. Seats, door panels, shifter boot (5 speed) and shifter ****, penholder. I put in a Kenwood Excelon Head unit and replaced a broken headlight. It was glass and the other one on the car is plastic. So, I went back and got the other glass one to install.

The wheels came off of a V70, but they are 17" and in good shape, where as mine are 15's. They came off of the car in the picture, and if I need any other parts before they trash it, I will get them there.

These guys own a car lot and sell parts, so if you need any Volvo parts for an S60 or V70 and you are near Lancaster, PA. give them a call. parting out 2001 Volvo v70 turbo station wagon

just be careful of the overall diameter. You need to keep it the same or you could experience changes in the car such as incorrect speed. Also, if you have wider tires you may rub inner fender and increase your turning circle...bad enough as it is!lol

Default Thanks for advice

The wheels I got are 17 inches with 235/45R17 tires. The outside diameter is within a couple of mm. The tires do rub, but that is simply a matter of replacing the steering stops (7.99 on ebay, or about 29.95 from Volvo) and they are already ordered.

They make those in different sizes to accommodate different tire sizes. I could have gotten them off of the car I got the wheels from, but they compress over time so it made sense to get new ones.

I do appreciate the assistance. And, you are right about the turning circle. LOL
