Hi all. I'm new to the forum and to owning a Volvo.
I've just bought a 52 plate S60 and am having a few problems I'm hoping someone can help me with.
My main problem with has just started is a big issue. Everything has been fine up to tonight when, while on my way home from work, I pulled away from a junction when suddenly the engine started to rev up with no gain in acceleration. This has now continued all the way home, I try to accelerate and the revs build right up to red line but my speed just crawls up. I hope this makes sense to someone and knows how to fix it, Bry

 

Ok, I have found out what the problem is, the clutch has gone. Only had the car 3 weeks now it's going to go for scrap
