I recently changed the suspension bushes on my S60 T5 (2000) . When i replaced them i damaged the passenger side driveshaft.
I went to a volvo breaker and got another one.
Since i have replaced it i am getting a noisy roaring noise under acceleration. When i put my clutch in it stops , or when i reverse its gone . Only when i accelerate.
Cpuld it be the replacement driveshaft, I was told it cant be the gearbox or else there would be the noise in reverse.
Only driving forward, i can hear it more if im idling then i accelerate in a higher gear..

The volvo breaker told me the driveshaft is the same on all S60's on that year. It looked identical.
