Default Odometer display is dead, not lighting up

I haven't been here in a long time, our 2001 S60 has been fine until now.
Last week my wife said the odometer display is dead, can't read the mileage. I need to get the car inspected in a few weeks and the mileage display is required. Is there a bulb inside the instrument cluster that supplies the illumination?
I've searched this forum but maybe didn't use the correct wording, can't find anything about it.
If there is bulb does anyone know what the p/n is? Hope I don't need to go to the dealer to get a 50 cent bulb and pay $10 for it.
Thanks in advance.

Mine did this. Yes, there is more than one. The dash is very easy to pop out, so long as you take off the steering cowl. Do that, and take the bulb that's blown into an automotive store. It's a standard part and dirt cheap
