Default Oil leaking from top, back side of engine

I have a 01 S60 2.4T Auto with 272k miles. It's having its first moderate to severe leak on the top, back side of the engine block, near the turbo. I tried searching for this problem, but didn't have much luck. I did find something in the S80 forum that mentioned this:

"Yeah most likely an oil return pipe gasket (turbo end) or oring (on block end) on one of the turbos, or lower down it would be the oil cooler."

This sort of makes sense, however that thread just stopped there. Does anybody have any more info on this, or have a better idea?

I should add that the PCV system has never been cleaned or replaced. When I first got it 3 years ago, the engine surged/fluctuated about 2-300 RPM's. One day it stopped, so I got underneath the car and found that the pressure found the weakest point and started oozing oil out of the dipstick inlet at the base of it. It was never a real issue, so never did anything about it.

I would check the turbo return line. It is fairly easy on the S60 to replace it. The parts should be less than $10.00.

Checking out some of the different gaskets on some sites, which ones would they be?

Nevermind, found it. I think I replaced that 2 years ago. Its coming from above that area. I'll take a better look at tomorrow and post it

If it is coming from above that then make sure the oil cap seal is not leaking. If that leaks it can work to the back up top and go through a slot in the back and run down.

With what you describe when the Oil comes out at Dip stick that means that you PCV system is clogged. This will cause all type of issues if this goes untreated, The pressue of a clogged PCV can cause a blown seal .. I would fix this ASAP... IPD sells the setup as a hole kit . Make sure you do your reading on the how to on the PCV system can take some time to do right..Here is a good write up and How to with Pics.. Good Luck and i would not just let this go......
