Default Oil level sensor wiring missing?

I just did some part changes on my 2012 s60 T5 and noticed that the oil level sensor had no wire attached to it. Oil changes on this have been done at the volvo dealer since buying it. Is this normal? I couldn't find a connector either. The car did have some front end collision damage and the radiator support was replaced. The shop that did the work was extremely incompetent. I'm just wondering if this is a relic of their terrible work or it's supposed to be like this.

Thanks.

That's normal. The car doesn't use the sensor but the pan is the same as one that does.
