My headlight washers spray seems to be a little over-ambitious and sprays cleaner all over the front of the car when I wash the windshield. Is anyone aware of a way to disable or tone down the headlight washers? I think the manual said something about the headlight washer getting disabled when the fluid is low so I was thinking maybe I could make it think the fluid was low or something??

 

On mine, if you do a quick flick (or more then one flick) of the lever as opposed to holding it back, it shouldn't come out for the headlights, just the windshield. The headlight wipers will still move, but fluid doesn't come out.

 

Sounds good... I'll give this a try on the way to work.

OTOH: I have the cleanest hood in town.
