Disable headlight washers?

Default Disable headlight washers?

I have a 2010 s80. Pain in but washing windshield because the headlight washers spray too, getting hood all wet. Anyone know how to disable the headlight washers?? Thx

The headlight washers are good to keep them clean, especially in the snow. If you want to disable them you will probably have to disconnect the water lines going to them and cap them off. Plug the ends but make sure you do it good so they don't spray washer fluid somewhere else.

It might be a software option that can be changed at the dealership. That said, I love the washer system on Volvo's, whether they are the wipers or the pop-ups.

Any chance pulling the fuse would disable the headlight washer pumps? I did so on my 2002 when the right pump shorted & made an annoying noise.
