Default P0089 Code- Fuel Pressure Regulator Performance for 2005 s60 2.5 AWD

Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone knew what to do about this code. I have put in a new pressure sensor, new fuel pump and new fuel filter and the code is still there. The car feels fine but it bothers me to see the check engine light on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you clear the codes or are you just waiting for it to go off by itself?

What is the duty cycle on the fuel pump?

I cleared the code but it came back. I’m not entirely sure what the duty cycle is. It was pulled from a 2008 s60

Duty cycle is roughly the percentage of time the fuel pump runs. Value too high = a code. A compatible scan tool can read that value.

Oh I gotcha. Thank you for the advice. I don’t believe my ODB scanner can test that. I’ll try pulling the fuse and see if maybe that will reset it.

Pulling fuses does not clear codes.

As an alternative to me trying to figure this out by airing out different ideas, what do you recommend then?

Using a compatible scan tool would be a good first choice.

Hopefully it can display fuel pump duty cycle in live data.
