Question Pentosin Pentafrost NF or SF, diluted or straight?

Going to replace thermostat, flush and fill. Read Xerex / Pentofrost thread. Which Pentofrost product to use? 2005 S60 2.5T AWD. Basically the choice seems to be silicates or non. Thanks.

Volvo alloy engines are supposed to have a hybrid type coolant according to info I have read after scouring the web. HOAT

The link below specifies 2005 S60 models to have nitrite free and amine free coolant. i.e. NF type.

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/nf-...ze-g001100-15l

Below is a cut&paste from the full list referencing the S60.
  • 2005 Volvo S60 2.4L L5 Engine Coolant / Antifreeze
    NF-G11; 1.5 L
  • 2005 Volvo S60 2.5L L5 Engine Coolant / Antifreeze
    NF-G11; 1.5 L
mix should be 50/50.

Thank you sir! Doing a thermostat housing and recently decided a water pump/timing kit with a flush, want to make sure all it well. Bought the car 4 days ago and have fallen in love... would like to keep it going properly.

You can often get away with keeping the water pump but that's subject to inspection of its existing condition.
Many Volvo owners replace the pump at every 2nd timing belt change if okay?
Are you aware if the existing belt is the original (10 years old now) or has it previously been replaced?
That is an important consideration also when re-using a water pump.

Timing belt was done about 28,000 miles ago by a dealership. There's a silver foil Volvo service sticker denoting it. Removed the top cover to replace the coolant temp sender easier and belt is definitely fairly new. Pump wasn't done by the looks. The Dayco kit came in, came with everything but the pump bolts and cam seals.
Spying down the inlet of the new thermostat unit, I'm going to have to rotate the thermostat itself before I stall it to get the vent vertical (yes, I've watched Robert's video).
