Hello all. I am new to the forums. I have always liked Volvosbut have never been able to get one b/c of price. I might be able to get one for a good price. It is a 03 S60 AWD with 98K miles. My question is how is the MPG on an AWD. I am getting rid of an Xterra that was getting about 18 MPG combined. Should I think about getting this or look at S60 2.4T? Quick responce would be great b/c I am going this weekend to look. Thanks.

I'd buy the AWD for the safety and performance. But if money is a concern, AWD will rob you a couple MPG and it's more parts to fix. You also lose a % of power to an AWD system and it adds weight so you won't be quite as fast (unless you have a tendancy to peel out a lot).
