Programming a S60 Remote
I just purchased a 2001 S60 T5 that did not come with any keyless entry remotes. I purchased two on line for cheap, but do not know how to perform programming. Can anyone offer assistance?

Well, if it is similar to what is used on a C70, you had best up your Visa limit as only the dealer can program the remotes. Not only will the dealer charge for his service, but Volvo gets a dollar or two also for the program.

Well, you peaked my curiosity and so I looked up what the dealer charged me last year. I was wrong..............it only cost $79.49. I believe I was also thinking of what I paid for the actual remote. At any rate, if 02035 already has a remote I guess the cost is not as bad as we thought.

Something like $200-$300 the dealer charges, from what ive seen.

TECH, what do you mean by codes? On the late model c70's the dealer sells you a remote (the same as buying off Ebay) and then the dealer programs the remote to your auto. I had an aquaintenance who purchased his remote from Ebay and took it to the dealer who programed it...................is a S60 different? Also, Merry Christmas to you!

But If he Doesn't have the proper CODES they will only be good for the Garbage.

Hey Guys,
I recently picked up a 2002 Volvo S60 2.4 Turbo AWD and it came with only 1 manual key.
So I was looking for keys/remotes for it and after a little bit of research I have realized that it has to be programmed by Stealership ONLY.
I found some remotes on eBay but I am not sure if they are compatible as I dont have original remotes.
Could anyone of you tell me what is the FCC Code/GM number on the back of the remote for a 2002 Volvo S60 2.4 Turbo AWD?
That would be helpful for me to source a cheap remote and then get it programmed at the stealership. Thanks in advance!

And it's dealership.
I need to confirm the FCC Code/GM Number on the original remote and match it with the number on the after market remote.
Remote I am planning on buying is:
