Rattle at Idle
So for the past few 2 or so years i have this rattle at Idle, sounds like something loose, but once RPM start to raise the rattle goes away,
I was told from a Dealership that it was the Alternator and there was no point in replacing it till it does ( also where is a slight power flux.. when lights are on in the car you can notice it.. they kinda flicker a little even more obvious when the power is under load, fan, radio etc)
My question is, the rattle is getting louder and more annoying now its getting cold here again in canada.. should i replace the alternator or could it be the pully on the front of it ( kinda stupid when it comes to under the hood)
BTW its a 2002 S60 base with 168,000 no major problems so far..
