Rear window defrost

Hello, I've got an '06 S60 and the rear window defrost does not seem to be working all that well. Is that an issue with the glass or the current supplied to it to activate it?

I have the same yr/car as you. My defrost seems to take about 7min to clear.. I also leave the driver's side window a crack when driving to help clear the window fog as well.
