Recommendation for essential tools
Now that my 2002 S60 is starting to fall apart, and I don't have the cash to bring it in and just have everything fixed, I am learning a lot more about auto repairs. My tool set is from my high school days, some Craftsmen sockets and wrenches.
Wondering if anyone has compiled a list of the most essential tools to have ?
What size sockets, wrenches, etc, to do the bulk of the repairs that are coming up.
Thanks,
mark.

If you don't have the cash to take it to someone to fix it, I am guessing you won't have the cash to get even the skinniest set of the "essential" tools. I wouldn't worry about it, lots of parts stores will lend you tools to fix your car regardless if you buy the parts from them or not. Just need to establish a good relationship with them. If you really think you must have the tool rite now, just look for the repair you think is coming next and see what tools you'll need for that specific repair, otherwise you'll end up buying tools you may never need.
