Default Remanufactured Brake Booster

Anybody have experience with remanufactured brake boosters? I found some on this site http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...e_booster.html

I was thinking about getting the cheapest one there on the bottom Centric Brake Booster

I'm a bit strapped for cash and my booster has been making the annoying hissing noise a lot. And learned from these forums that the seal has probably been compromised.

I just don't want to end up having some other strange problem appear after installing this. (like with the cheap wobbly strut mounts I bought a couple weeks ago) Thanks.

Yes i did mine last year with a A1 Cardone .Just one quick thing do you have DSTC. How you know is there will be a DSTC button on your console right next to headrest release ? Make sure you buy the right Booster . From the description it sounds like the Centric one is for No-DSTC . But other than that A1 Cardone gave me no problem. I bought mine at local Auto parts store for about the same price. These a very simple parts and not a lot to go wrong after they are rebuilt with a better diaphragm in them.Take it from me i did mine in the drive way give yourself some time to do this project. Its a tight fit to get it in there and the Nuts to get it out are under the dash. It was a long back breaking Saturday when i did mine. But very doable.
