Just purchased a new-to-me S60 and one of my conditions of sale was that they add remote start. They wanted to charge me $500, which I protested, and then found out that it's a simple flash of the computer (if I understood the salesman correctly). Just asking for a confirmation out of curiosity, as most of the folks there didn't seem to have a lot of knowledge of their product.

 

Yep, just a software download. But that doesn't mean it's cheap. It runs $499 if I remember correctly.
