Default Removing Back Emblems

So I removed the back emblems on my car (S60, Volvo, and 2.5T badges) I have an '04. I scraped the glue off, used some rubbing alcohol to help me get the rest of the glue residue off. I then waxed the areas, with two coats. You can still see faint outlines of the badges I removed. Does anyone know what could get rid of that? Clay bar and buff? Would detailers be able to get rid of it? Anyone have any ideas?!? Thanks!!

I would suggest the clay bar. That should lift the grime without affecting the paint.

Well I scrubbed the adhesive hard and good with alcohol, and it doesn't feel like there's anything there. So I dont think it is adhesive, Gonna clay it tomorrow, and we'll see if that makes a difference.

Since that paint has never been exposed to the sun (you figure the car was painted and then shortly after the emblem was put on) you might have somewhat an outline where the old paint that was exposed to the sun might have minor sun bleaching/fading from old and newer paint and that's where you might have that outline..
