Replaced Alternator/battery new

Ive swapped out my alternator on my 2004 Volvo S60 and battery light is coming on. Battery is new but have had it tested multiple times and is a good battery. Can someone help me diagnose the problem.

Yes, you have a bad alternator - (whether it is new or not) or just some of the diodes are bad in your new alternator - (meaning you have a bad alternator)

I figured as much. Just wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything else I was missing.

See if your model has a replaceable voltage regulator - not all models allow you to replace it separately but its worth checking on a dealer parts store.
