Replaced rotors and pads on the front....BRAKES SPONGY. HELP!
Make sure you have all the pieces (pads) in there, then pump the brakes a few times. You have to push the pads back into contact with the rotors before you will get a firm pedal.
If it still goes to the floor try to go somewhere safe on gravel or dirt and slam on the brakes and activate the ABS and see if it gets better.
Good news: Brakes fixed.
I spent a good 3 hours trying to figure out what the heck was going on and even took it to a mechanic to take a look. Turns out, the wire clip was improperly and THAT caused ALL the issues. Unbelievable.
Anyway, glad it's working and hopefully this tidbit may help someone else.
