Default Replacing my 235/45r17 by 205/55r16

Hi,

I would like to replace my 235/45r17 tires by 205/55r16. I don't know if this is possible since I can read in my Volvo s60 2002 AWD that it supports 235/45r17 only.

Is there possibility to use an equivalent size?

Thanks

Its not uncommon to go "minus one" particularly when going from summer to winter tires.

Both sizes were used as OEM wheels for the 2002 S60s so there shouldn't be any reason not to go to a 16 inch wheel provided you find the right offset and width (you can easily find other OEM 16 wheels that are correct for you model) Other possible tire sizes would be a 215/55-16 or 225/50-16
