Every time I change the oil in my 02 S60 I cannot remember how to reset the SRL. Tell me what I am doing wrong!

Key in position I, hold in the trip button until it beeps (I get the beep) then...

Move key to position II, release within 4 seconds. Won't reset.


I eventually get it but this time it wont reason with me, lol.

 

Try this...
Turn ignition to slot I.
Press and hold odometer stick.
Turn ignition to slot II.
Wait until the yellowtriangle appears, and release the stick after it flashes three times.
(it will actually flash four or five times, but you have to release it after three).
Then it will beep and let you know it's done.

 

The yellow triangle indication was introduced in 2003. My S60 is an 02. I have printed off directions from Mitchell online (online repair source) and the directions are not spot on
