Default S 60 engine swap

Good Morning, I was wondering if someone has tried this before. I was thinking og using a 2.4 turbo engine instead of a 2.5 due to my believing the 2.4 is a stronger engine. Can anyone tell me if this has been tried before?

Not worth the trouble or the cost...
WHY bother? thats just wasting money...

If you are that concerned, you can spend a tonne of money to rebuild the entire engine but i'll have you know that volvo's engines are normally built strong.. Its definitely not a weak point in the car...

Yeah, If your really wanting a 2.4T it would be way cheaper to trade in your 2.5 and call it a day...

Thanks for the comments however, my thoughts were to use the 2.4 turbo engine because the blocks are the same, the heads look the same. I thought the only real differance was the cams.
