New to the Volvo world and just bought one for my oldest son to take to college (Texas Tech!) and these 2 codes just popped up. What would cause them - P0607 - Control Module Performance and P2096 Post Catalyst Fuel system.

The wrenches at the local place say it's a very simple fix, but need to know if I should cut bait early..

Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't sound serious. Maybe O2 sensor related. Have you tried to google it?

 

Yes and google didn't come up with anything other than stated above. took it to the local Volvo dealership - they want $1500 for a new ECM. can we buy the ECM's anywhere or is it a proprietary item?
