I shorted the generator (PLUS) contact to the ground by accident ,and now car is sputtering and has lack of power in gear. Cold engine it's sputtering like crazy , but if it warms up not that much but still lacks power 2k rpm and stays there for a while ,with VIDA it showed cylinder 4 and 5 missfire aswell fuel economy is not affected.
But in Park or Neutral it revs nicley to 5k rpm 1 time it sputterd in park above 5k rpm but most of the time its fine. The issue is in gear (D,R) not neutral or park.
TCM was working fine tested with VIDA , cleaned the TCM and MAF. VIDA shows no other codes related to engine. Lambda showed as working fine , injectors were firing normally , cranck sensor was working , MAF is reading air fine.
But if the engine is in Cold Start mode or whatever the revs stay above 1.5k too long even when the engine is at 50C or even sometimes when come to a stop and 90C (Operating temp) then its reving like its still in cold start mode 1.2k-1.5k rpm.
Spark plugs and fuel filter are changed recently.
And 1 time the generator stopped to charge voltage dripped to 11.9V while driving then back at 13.8-14.2V and now it hasn't happend.
