Hi all

I need to do some bodywork and will need to do some painting.

I would like to use the same paint as what was applied on the car at the factory.

What was the paint brand/type for the 2001 S60?

Also, I presume that when I get into it I will find this a two phase paint job (base + CC)

The paint code should be on the metal tag under the hood.

Paint code is just the color, not the brand of paint.

Yes, I am looking for the paint brand & type (the type within the brand) that was used when originally spraying the car at the factory.

I am really trying to match to the existing color as much as possible, realizing that some minor change has taken place on the rest of the rest of the car due to weather exposure.

 

I really don't know where you would find that information. A body shop should be able to match it though.
