Default S60 2007 auto. Drive shaft vibration

Hi, my S60 (42,000 miles) has been driving well until the vibration which starts at 25 mph and is uncomfortable at 60 mph, when it vibrates through the floor and steering.
Its certainly driveshaft related and on the Nearside so its the Longer shaft.
None of the rubber covers are worn or have tears in them. No noise from the CV joint either.
I don't know if its the joint, or any other bearing?

My local Independent Volvo specialist just happened to have a spare driveshaft? and was keen to get me to replace all of them! he showed me that there was a some movement in the shaft about where the control arm is.
I am a little suspicious of him wanting me to replace both, and the price is also high.

Any suggestions of whether it could be another component or if its a Driveshaft, should I replace both?

I am in the sticks and he is the only independent specialist other than the main dealer.

Thanks
Regards
HK

Are your tires in good condition and balanced?

Hi,
Yes the tyres are balanced, the alignment is correct and the tyre pressures are checked regularly (when cool).

Thanks
