I've got a 2013 Volvo S60 with a steering wheel that makes a quiet creaking sound, usually from lock to lock. The dealer says it's a faulty clock spring but that the noise has not exceeded the threshold states in a recently issued service bulletin? Is there anything I can do to alleviate the sound and is Volvo obligated to fix the spring?
