Bought a volvo s60 with bi xenon lights had to change the front left headlight. i bought a new one put it in and cant change from high to low beam. turn signals will not work either. if i turn the emergency blinker on everything works fine. took the turn signal lever out but cant get a new one untill 2 weeks. i am not sure if it is the turn signal lever. any suggetions on what it could be? ps when i turn the igniton on the low beams turn on but cant change them to high beam

 

Make sure your headlights are actually on, not just the daytime running lights. You need to switch the headlights on to turn your high beams on. A lot of people do this and even I from time to time wonder why I cant turn them on and then realize my headlights arent actually switched on, even though there is no difference between our DRL and headlights on position afaik.
