Hi,

I have a 2005 S60 D5 manual. Today whilst I was driving I had a problem where the car went into neutral and now I can't select any gears. When I move the gear stick there's no resistance that you'd normally have and the stick moves around freely. I've checked the linkages/cables and that all looks ok as the arms going into the gearbox under the air filter box are moving as expected.

This looks like a serious issue with the gearbox but any ideas would be gratefully received!
