Default S60 door panel removal

I have a 2004 S60. The passenger door interior handle doesn't work, but outside does. To get at the linkage the whole interior door panel has to come off, but there are no visible screws holding it. I don't want to break the door panel trying to remove it. What's the trick? Are there reusable clips holding the panel in place or do they break and need replacement?

Start by removing the door mirror cover panel. Next depress the center of each round clip running along the edge of the door panel. Then carefully remove the door pull cover panel starting at the bottom edge - you will be able to see a small recess on the under side of the door pull - start there and slowly pry the cover loose. With the cover removed you will see 2 hidden torx screws. With those removed, pull the panel outward from the bottom then up over the window sill. There will be a series of wire harnesses and the door opener cable. You should be golden from there.

A detailed set of instructions including pictures is now available in the "General Volvo Chat/Member Write-ups" on page 4.
