I recently bought my first Volvo, a 2006 S60 2.5T AWD. I noticed earlier this week that the reflection of my headlights on signs tends to strobe somewhat violently when I'm on bumpy roads. If I thump on the top of the headlight assemblies, I can see the bulbs shake up and down slightly. So I'd like to know if it has to do with the whole light assembly, just the bulbs themselves, and is there a chance that something just needs to be tightened/adjusted? Also worth mentioning that the car has xenon lights, which I assume are part of an aftermarket kit.

Obviously the fitting of the bulb is misaligned or broken. You can either have it repaired or get a new assembly from your local dealer or thru online.
