So long story short I was unaware that the s60 t6 uses excessive oil between changes. I found this out the hard way after a 2hr 20 min trip. The car started acting up on my way home. It started acting sluggish and thru a symbol on dash, looked like a thermostat. I pulled over immediately and shut the car off. There was smoke coming from under the hood. I assumed it was out of oil and so hot it was smoking..wrong...it was a ignition coil smoking. Realized this later when i did it again by accident, by pushing the connector on the 5th ignition coil. It started smoking and frying. So i checked the oil
level and there was zero on the dipstick. I found a ride, got oil, filled it up and tried starting it. Nothing it was turning but not start. Did it again and nothing. Though for a second that i seezed the engine. Had it towed home and started working to find the problem right away. This is where i checked the connections on the ignition coils and the 5th on started smoking and frying. I unhook the battery immediately and realize now that coil is bad. So i replaced the coil and upon further investigation i found the fuse under the hood for ignition coil was blown. So i replaced that. Tried starting again...nothing!!! Damn what could it be. Fuel, air, spark, combustion. So then checked all ignition coils with a volt meter. Checked connectors for power. Everything looked good but no start. So i pulled the coils and replaced the plugs. Started right up. Perfect! Today going down the road it spit out a huge cloud of exhaust. What could that be? Car is running fine but scared the **** out of me like a headgasket when it happened but car is fine no smoke now???? Anybody have any ideas, it is a t6 so has turbo etc...

Smoking and fried coil. Found putty all around it?? There where 2 like that, wtf??
