I've got an 04 S60. I got new rear rotors and pads, The inside of the rotors look like a place where the e-brake pads would be at. are there any special tricks to removing these,, Also does anyone know where I can get a haynes or chilton's manual on the 01-07 S60's for the home mechanic ?? I don't think they have come out with a Haynes or Chilton manual yet for the newer S60's. I'm sure when Tech is well and back on line he can help you.

 

Look for a Vadis DVD on Ebay. Item # 200192780824 is one of them. Better than Haynes. It is the factory manual.

 

You may also want to check out this website: https://www.volvotechinfo.com/index.cfm?event=item.training They have shop manuals as well as technical bulletins. The shop manuals are expensive but the bulletins are more affordable if you are trying to diagnose a specific problem or symptom.

The rotors will slide off pretty easy.
Just make sure the E-brake is off.
