I recently bought a pre-owned 2007 S60. I noticed on the roof that there are brackets in the rain channels which I'm told are for securing a roof rack. If I'm not using a roof rack, shouldn't there be a rubber insert to put in the rain channel and cover those brackets? The "kid" at the Volvo dealer said that is the way it is, but I don't believe him....any thoughts?

 

yes, there are plastic/rubber trims that cover the rain channels
